Read below re: the EXTENDED WARRANTY!!Product works great! Seems heavier than I thought it would be, but once on board I didn’t notice the weight. Cleaning the beds under the oaks trees was the primary purpose of this purchase and after several years of raking and using a handheld blower I can assure you that this purchase was well worth it. There was no start guide on my machine (odd?), but I referred to the owner’s manual and it started up fine. I did not wear ear protection and it did not seem any louder than my mower, weed eater or handheld blower. I used silicone spray to help attach the tubes. In addition, I chose to use only two tubes rather than all three. Now, I knew when I made this purchase I could extend the warranty when using 3-cans of the Husqvarna premixed fuel. My mistake was that I DID NOT UNDERSTAND the warranty/purchase parameters. Both the machine and the Husqvarna fuel need to be on the SAME receipt. I ordered the blower on Amazon and purchased the fuel separately from my local Loews. Delivery of this blower, to my local Lowes, was a 2-week wait and Amazon Prime was 2-days. Same price minus 12 days and it was a no brainer. But, but, but….. I should have ordered the fuel from Amazon. So be aware of this if the extended warranty is important to you. I don’t anticipate problems, but the additional peace of mind would have been nice. The reality is that I’ll probably use the machine 20 hrs a year. Here is what the Husqvarna website says regarding the warranty extension:To Extend the Warranty by 1 Year to a Total of 3:The consumer will need to take only 2 steps: First, the consumer must purchase at least 6 bottles of Husqvarna brand 2-stroke oil regardless of size and/or type at the same time as the qualifying handheld product purchase and both purchases must be on the original product invoice/receipt. Second, the consumer must register their product online.*To Extend the Warranty by 2 Years to a Total of 4 years:The consumer will need to take only 2 steps: First, the consumer must purchase at least 96 oz of Husqvarna brand pre-mixed fuel at the same time as the qualifying handheld product purchase and both purchases must be on the original product invoice/receipt. Second, the consumer must register their product online.*For Multiple Units Purchased:Each qualifying handheld product purchased must have an accompanying amount of 2-stroke oil or pre-mix fuel added to the original receipt in order to qualify. For example, if a consumer purchases a 455 rancher chainsaw and a 125B handheld blower and would like to have them both qualify for a 4 year limited warranty, they will need to purchase at least 192 oz of premixed fuel (96 oz for the chainsaw and 96 oz for the handheld blower).

I bought the 350BT to replace a broken 150BT I have had for a few years…I have a small yard, 1/3 acre, homeowner use only. I cant really complain about the 150 other than slightly disappointed it didnt last a bit longer but it is what it is. So I got the 350BT thinking I would see what the difference is in performance considering the 350BT is SUPPOSED to have more volume but a lower MPH….When everyone asks what the difference between the 350BT and the 150BT I can tell you there is ZERO difference!! IF the air tubes are supposed to be larger on the 350BT they are NOT!! I just compared to my old 150BT and they are identical, interchangeable! I cant tell any difference in performance either..MAYBE the 350 is a TINY bit quieter? Maybe just my imagination because I saw the dB levels are lower on teh box, but probably not even noticeable. All I can say is get which ever is cheaper at the time, they are the same damn machine in every spec, other than the sticker on the back of it. Thats my 2 cents… If I were blindfolded and handed a 150 then a 350 to use, I bet I couldnt tell the difference!! Attached are pics of the tube sizes back to back from the 350 and 150. If the price was drastically different on the 2 I would be pissed..Since they are the same price and Amazon says this cant be returned, I guess I will just live and learn with my error. I would rather have the so called 250 MPH speed of the 150…I am going to contact Husqvarna also to see if they give me any response….any bets on if I get a response at all? I’ll put $25 on no response…

Bought in 2012, I thought it was time to give some props. I have always thought the blower was a bit difficult to get started, usually taking 3-4 pulls, but one thing is certain: It is repeatedly 3-4 pulls for EVERY use over the 5 years I’ve owned it. So, while I wish I had the unit that takes 1-2 pulls, it is what it is. I use this blower to move every leaf on my property during the fall, which usually happens on every weekend over 4-6 weeks. It is at full-throttle over much of the 2 hours it generally takes to round them all up on each go-round. Air volume is excellent, moving 2-3′ tall piles of (dry) leaves easily. I’m a big guy and the shoulder harness tends to roll off my shoulders if I don’t improvise a bit, tying across my chest. Otherwise, comfort is very tolerable, even over 2 hours. So far, except for the tube slipping off where it’s clamped (loose), I’ve not have one failure. My outstanding rating is due in large part to the reliability and value. I recommend this unit.
